The Asperger Plus Child
How to Identify and Help Children With Asperger Syndrome and Seven Common Coexisting Conditions – Bipolar Disorder, Nonverbal Learning Disability, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, High-Functioning Autism, Tourette’s Syndrome and Attention Deficit Disorder

In "The Asperger Plus Child," author George Lynn combines research with his own experience working for close to 20 years with children whom he calls "attention different" to create an indispensable guide about the many children with Asperger Syndrome who also demonstrate signs of other conditions. Written for parents, teachers, counselors and medical professionals, the book provides a map that helps people better understand the often complex issues of individuals with AS and, as a result, provide better services.

Customer Review: Krysstah - From an autism teacher: A colleague saw George T. Lynn speak at a conference and highly recommended his book. It is an easy and fascinating read. It is divided into chapters by condition, so you can read only what you are interested in at the time and easily find information. The entire time I was reading it, different students were popping into my mind. It offers great insight into how co-existing conditions manifest in people with Asperger's and helpful ideas for intervention. I have also recommended it to parents and psychologists.
