MEET THE AUTHOR
Teresa Cardon, PhD, CCC-SLP, is the Director of the Melisa Nellesen Center for Autism at Utah Valley University. She has worked with individuals on the autism spectrum for more 16 years in a variety of settings, including public schools. A well-respected researcher and practitioner, she has assisted thousands of families and their children as they work to improve their social communication skills. The author of Top Ten Tips: A Survival Guide for Families With Children on the Autism Spectrum and Initiations and Interactions: Early Intervention Techniques for Parents of Children With Autism Spectrum Disorders, Teresa provides interactive and motivating workshops on a variety of topics internationally.
